– ABOUT –

I’m a Brightonian living in Eastbourne – although Brighton still has my heart!
I’ve loved flowers all my life. It all started as a child, where I spent countless Cornish summers at my grandparents’ house. The garden felt huge, and it had little secret areas filled to the brim with roses, crocosmia, wild primroses, big blousy hydrangeas and oddly shaped beds full of seasonal stems.
Even as a child, I felt at home with a pair of scissors cutting a little colourful posy filled with a delicious scent, and popping it into one of nanna’s many vessels.
Years later, I get to create bountiful, romantic wedding flowers for couples, and filling their unique venues with florals. I also deliver seasonal, locally grown bunches to your door, for a dose of colourful, sweet-smelling happiness – all with the help of my sidekick, Dusty the dog.
Things I love
I absolutely love my allotment – it’s a little haven to escape into.
I’m a pisces so I love everything water – especially the deep blue sea. I find cold-water swimming so revitalising.
I also have a weirdly obsessive love for fruit – my family used to call me a fruitarian, because as a child I would forage when outside and in gardens. And I actually still do this!
I’m a total nature nerd, and can name most veg, fruit, flowers and trees.
I’m a huge animal lover and am also vegan. I have a lab x collie called Dusty, and I love her as much as she loves squirrels. I live with my fiancé Sam, and when I’m not working I’m with him doing anything outside in nature, from kayaking to paddleboarding, food markets to sun-worshipping on the beach.
“Betty is amazing at what she does, so talented.”

My work and ethos
I strive to be as eco friendly as possible in order to do my bit for the planet. In 2021 my little business was awarded as a ‘Plastic Free Champion’ by Surfers Against Sewage. If you’d like to read more about my work, check out this interview with Eastbourne Scoop.
My absolute joy is meeting couples, from the first initial consultation to bringing ideas to life at beautiful venues throughout East Sussex.
If you would like to discuss flowers, please do get in touch. I would love to hear from you!
